Sneakin’ London

Ciara Sexton’s not the only Irish dancer to don a skintight bodysuit on stage. (Psst. Check out her LOTD shot to the right.)

Earlier this month, ambush dancers the Sneaky Steppers had a little fun with Londoners when they accepted Ellen’s Dance Dare, a crowd-sourced video challenge where Ellen’s fans bust moves in public without grabbing attention from nearby people — and it’s all caught on camera.

And did I mention the form-fitted Morphsuits?

Here’s their vid:

That wasn’t the end of the dance antics. The Sneaky Steppers — which is actually a part of socially groundbreaking stage show Hammerstep — hit London’s historical Trafalgar Square on St. Patrick’s Day. A reported 18,000 were in attendance, including Mayor of London Boris Johnson, for the innovative cross-cultural show.

The London show also featured prodigal child of fiddlers Pat Mangan — who does a wicked Rihanna cover, I might add.

Armed with cameras, a team of student filmmakers followed the sneaky stepping Hammerstep gents throughout the city, ending at Trafalgar Square for the big show.
